Harbor Disciple-Making Groups Application
Please complete the application below if you're interested in being part of a disciple-making group. The purpose of this form is not to see how many answers you get "right" or "wrong" but to serve as a tool for you and for the church to discern if now is the right time for you to participate in a disciple-making group. The groups function best if they remain small, so space is limited and the commitment level is high. If you have any questions as you fill out the application, feel free to reach out to an elder.

A disciple-making group will involve a 1.5-hour weekly meeting from September through early May, with a break in December. Weekly homework averages 2+ hours to complete, which includes 20–30 pages of reading. Do you have the space in your schedule and are you willing to make this commitment? (Skipping meetings or attending without completing the homework will be to your own detriment and the detriment of the group.) *
What in your life or your present circumstances do you foresee being a hindrance to faithfully completing the work and attending the group meetings? *
If you're married, how supportive is your spouse of your desire to join a disciple-making group? Is your spouse aware of the time commitment required and willing to support you in fulfilling your commitment to the group? *
Once every 4–6 weeks you’d also have a one-on-one meeting with your group leader. Would you be able to commit to those meetings as well? *
Harbor has evangelism training one Saturday morning each semester. Would you be able to commit to attending both sessions next year? *
