2020 Virtual Sestercentennial Celebration
In light of the pandemic, the Sestercentennial Celebration that was to be held at Murray Grove Retreat & Renewal Center has now become a virtual celebration, October 2 – 4, 2020.
Current program plans:
Friday Evening: welcome and introduction by Thomas Potter and John Murray and huge toast to 250 years of Universalist Heritage; Love Notes video
Saturday Keynote Address: Rev. Nancy McDonald Ladd - “My Theology Is Not About Me: Universalism’s Vertical Dimension in a Pluralistic Age”
Saturday Panel: Mark Hicks – “21st Century Expressions of Universalism” – 8 recorded story tellers followed by live Q and A
Sunday Service: Rev. Justin Schroeder - “250 years of Universalist Heritage and its Meaning for Our Time” - zoomed directly from Minneapolis
