Kashi is the oldest living continuously inhabited city in the whole world, and it is the centre of Hindu Vedic civilisation. It is home to some of the most ancient scriptural temples, ashrams, traditional Indian music schools, Vedic pathshalas, beautiful ancient ghats next to the sacred river Ganga, the best street food and indescribable inner transformation for those that connect to the essence of Kashi - the home of Mahadev.
In this spiritual focused teerth yatra, I have designed a customised itinerary based on my own deep exploration of Kashi and its lesser known ancient sites. Here's what we have in store! You're also welcome to message me with follow up questions or send me an email :)
KASHI YATRA TRIP DETAILS

If you are feeling the calling to come to Mahadev Nagri and experience it in the ancient and authentic way this is your chance.
NOTE: this is a DHARMIC teerth yatra. Please do NOT come on my trip if you are expecting some sort of four star retreat service or if you are a hyper-entitled person and complain about everything, if you cannot bare simplicity and don't have the dedication to focus on the importance of a teerth yatra for yourself. This is in no way a generic tourist trip and by all means I do not want any generic tourists joining me either. Keep that in mind before registering so you manage your expectations. My dharmic teerth yatras are entirely distinct from the comfort level of spiritual retreats or other travel programs. The first step towards being in a teerth is to put your ego to the side and put your mind on Bhagwaan. If you haven't reached this level of consciousness yet, please come back later.

The logistics, cost and timing details are as follows:
✓ Arrival to Kashi is on Friday before 11am after which we check-in at the guest house and start with an introduction circle. Our first Darshan will start at Kaalbhairav Mandir who is the Kotwal or guardian of Kashi to take his blessings before visiting Visalakshi Shaktipeeth and then Baba Vishwanath temple. If you need to come a day earlier, I can share options for accommodation.
✓ On Saturday, Sunday and Monday we have a fully packed schedule on every day exploring a different area of ancient Kashi. The itinerary will only be shared with those joining. Check out is on Tuesday. If you wish to extend your stay you can do so independently and I'll be happy to advise on different options. I always recommend to stay at least a day or two more to revisit any temples, have more time for shopping and personal rituals. The trip will end on the Tuesday at 4pm so be sure to stay until then!
✓ The cost of this trip is Rs. 15.5k which includes accommodation in a prime area for the 5 days / 4 nights and the entire trip schedule + activities which I will be leading by myself. The cost does not include outside food expenditures, personal shopping or individual dakshina to give in temples or personal rituals. Please note that this trip involves a lot of walking! So our food will mostly be local street food. Options for rudra-abhishek will be explained once you sign up.
✓ There will be a maximum of 15 people per trip, with lots of time to socialise and make new friends! I try to keep the groups small so we can all connect well. You are also welcome to join with your family members, all ages are welcome.

IMPORTANT - in order to confirm your space, please pay a deposit of 7500 INR. This deposit is non-refundable and it is needed to secure your spot because this is peak tourist time and all arrangements are pre-booked for you. The remaining can be paid at your convenience 3 weeks before the starting date.
