HEADCOUNT:
Schools are encouraged to bring up to 25 attendees (students and adults) with each ensemble registration. Everyone is invited to bring instruments and participate in the workshops and festival activities even if they're not performing with an ensemble. If you have more than 25 who would like to attend, let us know and we will try to accommodate them. Lunch buffet will be served in the Ballroom Foyer (5th Floor) for participating ensembles and school staff members. An accurate headcount is appreciated. (Lunch menu: pasta buffet with salad, garlic bread, and cookies.) (Other options: Starbucks and Miller Time Pub and Grill are located on the Ground Floor (LL on the elevator.)

PARKING:
Busses and cars will drop off at the main entrance on 5th Avenue. They can pull into the valet area where students will enter the hotel to be greeted by a volunteer who will direct them to the 5th floor. Buses can arrange to park in the lot across the street. The $250 registration fee (per ensemble) can be paid online with debit or credit card. The link is on our website, or click here: PAY MY SCHOOL'S FEE. If you require an invoice contact Erin at mji@milwaukeejazzinstitute.org.
WHAT'S NEXT:
We will send a Google Form out in May requesting the following additional information:
  • Arrival time
  • Departure time
  • Final headcount for lunch buffet
  • Number of music stands required (if you have a large group, please consider bringing some of your own)
  • Repertoire in order of performance (Two pieces required, a third piece is optional.) (Remember to bring 2 copies of each score for adjudicators.)
