By trying out you acknowledge that hockey is a fast moving, high contact, competitive sport, and that you accept any and all risks that come with that at tryouts. *
Dues for the entire season will cover our tryouts, first two practices, practice jerseys, and our first game series. The rest of the money we will have to fundraise by getting sponsorships and donations. Dues are expected to be around $250, and players are expected to pay within 4 days of being selected for the team. Any player who does not pay within that time frame will lose their spot on the team. *
We will be selecting 5-8 additional players to act as subs for the team. Sub players will pay $100 within 4 days after being selected and will receive jerseys/ socks and are required to attend all practices BUT are NOT guaranteed games. As we are all college students, it is likely that we will have a few unavoidable absences each travel weekend. As a sub you will be contacted directly if we need you on our active roster and will have 3 days to accept the offer. *
As our right now our season will be 12-16 games long with a tournament during the second semester. Will will most likely have 3-4 home series and 3 away series (which will all be in Texas). We will be having one practice a week on Sundays at 1 p.m. at the Arctic Edge Ice Rink. Our first game series is against Baylor on November 19th and 20th at Arctic Edge. Additional information will be pushed out at a later date.
