For students to be considered for employment in one of the Learning Center or Innovation Center programs, a faculty recommendation is required. The recommendation is to ensure the student has the necessary understanding of the subject and/or relevant study skills to be able to provide adequate tutoring, mentoring, troubleshooting and/or PASS Leader sessions. All student workers undergo training to ensure they are compliant with KCCD policies. Peer/Embedded Tutors receive CRLA tutor training to become certified tutors, but all Student Workers are given the option to also complete the training.

Please submit this form for each student that you would like to provide a recommendation for. All information provided will be kept confidential.
