The Mount Sinai Downtown Diversity Council
Diversity Councils are committees of employees supported and commissioned by executive leadership to champion diversity, inclusion and equity. Committees exist at each of the Mount Sinai Health System's hospitals, the Corporate Services Center (CSC) and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and meet monthly to address the needs of faculty, staff, students and patients through key initiatives.

The MSD Diversity Council, which consists of Mount Sinai Beth Israel (MSBI), New York Eye & Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai (NYEE), Mount Sinai Downtown Union Square, and the Downtown network at large. The council is jointly led by Donnette Truss (Donnette.Truss@mountsinai.org) and Lena Chang (Lena.Chang@mountsinai.org). They meet the first Wednesday of the month at 4pm.
