In addition to all our above rules and restrictions there are additional terms that need to be respected in order to table at our events.
1) You must conduct yourself in a respectable manner that reflects yourself and our event in a positive light. This means avoiding conflicts, asking staff - committee - volunteers for help to mediate confrontation, avoiding fights, swearing, and ill behaviour and indecent exposure. Aggression and anti-social behaviour is not tolerated.
2) We do not tolerate illicit substance abuse, drugs or alcohol, please do not bring these on site or be intoxicated during our event.
3) Where required by State Government policy, all persons (including but not limited to: Patrons, Exhibitors, Volunteers and Staff) must show proof of vaccination or a valid medical exemption to be admitted entry into the event.
4) We do not tolerate offensive, insensitive and discriminating language and behaviour, this includes but not limited to; homophobia, transphobia, racism, body shaming, and ableism. We are an accessible event and safe space to our guests regardless of their gender expression, sexual orientation, race or religion.
5) All traders, artists and their helpers must also adhere to our Weapons Policy
6) All traders, artists and their helpers understand that when in event spaces they may appear in photography or videography by our commercial media team without their approval or knowledge. We may also use this content publicly and for promotional reasons and you are not entitled to any compensation or royalties for it's usage.
7) If found selling banned art such as copied, traced, stolen or AI art, you will be asked to remove the artwork with a warning. If products are not removed after a warning, you will be removed from the venue
8) Advertising for other events and markets needs to be approved before the event, please contact the Kaicon team for more information
9) Kaiga Convention, our team, hired security and volunteers are not responsible for your products or booth when you leave it unattended, it is not our duty to prevent theft, and it is not our job to stand in when you need breaks. Please do not ask volunteers to go behind your table at any time for assistance.
