Stakeholder Input Survey for ESSER III Funding
The Milford School Districts is seeking your input regarding the ongoing use of Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Funds (ESSER). These funds are designated for one-time or short-term expenditures to address the ongoing impact of the pandemic.
STAKEHOLDER FEEDBACK: FUNDING CATEGORIES
The following categories meet the criteria for ESSER III funding. Below is a brief description of each. We are interested in learning your thoughts on how to prioritize these categories along with your specific ideas within each category.
EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS SUPPLIES
Purchase a variety of supplies to maintain a safe and healthy environment for all students and staff.
INSTRUCTIONAL TECHNOLOGY (IT)
Purchase educational technology (including hardware, software, connectivity, assistive technology, and adaptive equipment) to support students and families for learning.
MENTAL HEALTH
Provide supports to school district staff, students, and families to educate, prevent, and/or address a variety of mental health concerns.
OPERATIONS & MAINTENANCE
Provide upgrades to HVAC (heating and air conditioning), filtration, and/or ventilation systems, and other building improvements.
LEARNING SUPPORT & INTERVENTION
Implement activities or supports to address student needs through evidence-based interventions, such as academic supports, summer learning or summer enrichment, extended day, comprehensive after school programs, or extended school year programs
