A week of giving back to a special place and the kickoff to World Oceans Month 2023. A true collaboration between numerous community groups and businesses, this week-long event will focus on encouraging stewardship of the Wāwāmalu coastline. Join for one day or join as many as you can.
Each day will focus on a different area and everyone that volunteers is welcome to join us at the Parley AIR Station at Bishop Museum on June 2nd for a free concert and special guests from the Schmidt Ocean Institute. The public is welcome on Friday but if you didn't volunteer we will be suggesting a donation at the door.
All community service work will be used to raise funds for the East Oahu Lifeguard Association and the Bitzer Ohana. Jason Bitzer is a City and County Lifeguard whose 3 year old son is fighting a rare form of cancer and their insurance is not covering the necessary treatments to save his life. With Lifeguards saving lives daily, raising money to for them is a small gesture of our aloha. Join us in this effort and DONATE HERE.
