ICE Incubator | The Innovator Program
Offered through the ICE Engineering Incubator with collaborative support through the Elko Engineering Garage and eHUB, this entrepreneurial technology commercialization program is open to University of Alberta students, researchers, faculty/staff, and recent alumni at no direct cost to participants.

Program Admission Process:

  • This application is for participation in the Innovator Program for a 4-month period.  
  • Applications are accepted on a continual basis, subject to advisor availability.
  • At the end of the 4-month period, requests by participants to continue in the program will be evaluated by the program leaders, who will consider the progress the participants have made and how continuation in the program would benefit the participants.

Note: This is a non-credit program and no grade will be assigned.

  1. Applicant(s) complete and submit this application form.
  2. Applications will go through an initial screening.
  3. Applicants being considered for admittance into the program will go through an interview (approximately 30 min).  The interview is to further explore the current state of the product idea and how the program will support maturing the idea.
  4. Successful applicants will receive written confirmation and a program kickoff meeting will be scheduled.
