Thank you for your interest in the 2023 Coracle Fellowship program. In 2023, the Coracle Fellowship program will have two separate cohorts: an in-person NoVA-DC cohort and an online cohort. Both will meet 1 Saturday a month. The in-person cohort will meet primarily at our Coracle Arlington location and at Corhaven (2 Saturday retreats). The online cohort will participate in the teaching portions each Saturday but has its own leadership team for discussion and engagement. Each cohort leadership team will organize small groups that will meet between the monthly retreats.
The Coracle Fellowship offers a variety of components that work together to maximize your cohort experience. You will be best served if you participate in them. To that end, we ask that you commit to making your best effort to participate in as many of the offerings as possible.
Completing and submitting this application indicates your willingness and intention to:
✤ Attend the group retreats or view the recording if you cannot attend.
✤ Complete the readings, written reflections, and other assignments to the best of your ability.
✤ Join a small group with other Fellows to meet once in between monthly group retreats.
✤ Consider spiritual direction, and if so led, pursue a spiritual director (We can help with this).
✤ Take at least one personal overnight spiritual retreat (Corhaven is available for this).
✤ Continue to participate in your home church.
✤ Complete a final, integrative project or paper.
✤ Be aware of additional Coracle offerings and consider participating from time to time (e.g., Space for God, Seminars, Retreats, Pilgrimages, etc.)
✤ Pay attention to your relationship with God and create space for God to meet you. Be open to exploring new spiritual disciplines that are individualized to you.
✤ Hold in confidence the things shared by others in the Coracle Fellowship.
