NPIEN Falanai Ala Speakers and Mentors 2022: Reply by April 11, 2022

Falanai Ala, retired Facilities Project Manager, Long Beach Unified School District is President Emeritus of NPIEN.  Falanai was a great enthusiast of this program and dedicated many hours speaking to students in an effort to encourage them to set high college and career goals.  The program features professionals from the Pacific Islander community, college and universities and other supporters who provide positive role modeling and mentoring.  We can provide in-person or virtual visits to schools: Career Day programs, assemblies, read-aloud programs, Lunch-time and after-school meetings,  and other classroom visits.  Over 1,000 students participate annually.  Our outreach is to Pacific Islander students but we are willing to work with all students.
