Motivation of Volunteers at Greenspaces

Hello, My name is Ariannah Lambert, and I am a graduate student in the Advanced Inquiry Program (AIP) through Miami University and Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden (CZBG). As part of my class, I am administering a survey from (11/4/19 through 11/12/19) to volunteers working at greenspaces to understand motivations and differences in motivations of retired volunteers compared to paid full-time, part-time working, or student volunteers. Anyone over the age of 18 is welcome to participate. Participating in this survey is voluntary and by completing this survey you are implying your consent. The information you share in the survey will not be distributed outside of my graduate class or published. This survey has two sections and a total of 37 questions. The first section is 7 questions long and focuses on demographic questions and the second section is 30 questions long to understand your reasons for volunteering.

Greenspace is an area of land or open space that is used in urban and non-urban environments and is predominantly covered with vegetation (e.g., trees, flowers, shrubs, grasses). Example greenspaces include forests, community parks and national parks, corridors, gardens, green areas, nature preserves, undeveloped land, etc.
