a: 全く読めない・ほとんど読めない（初級）Unable to read at all ・largely unable to read (beginner)

b: 辞書等を参考に自分で少し読める（中級）Able to read a little with the help of a dictionary (intermediate level)

c: 基本的な文字であれば自分で大体読める（上級）Can read most of the basic characters by myself (advanced)

d:くずし字はほぼ読めるので、翻刻システムを使ってテキスト化していきたい（熟練者）Can read kuzushiji to a large extent, so I would like to convert them into text using the transcription system (expert)
