Horizon Academy Application Form


Dear Prospective Parent,  
Thank you for your interest in Horizon Academy! Our school has so much to offer to your child and your family. We are excited to share with you:
  • a dynamic holistic academic curriculum with a targeted focus on literacy and numeracy designed to strengthen the reading and math skills of all students.
  • a unique expressive arts and sports program which offers students choices in the fine, practical, and performing arts and a wide range of sporting disciplines.
  • a school-wide positive discipline program called the Character Bee program.
  • school-wide social impact projects that teach the importance of giving back to the community.
  • small class sizes with more one-on-one instruction, differentiated lessons, and low student-teacher ratios.
  • an inclusive environment which teaches students to be kinder and more considerate of others
  • a Special Education program that addresses the needs of identified students with different services including IEPs and support teachers.
To complete our application process, we invite you to do the following:
Step 1: Complete the application form and the Special Ed form (if applicable) below in Google Forms and submit.
Step 2: Pay the $100.00 Non-refundable application fee, upon submitting the Horizon Application Form.  
Step 3: Email in a copy of your child's birth certificate, immunization form, and previous report card or transcript (If applicable) along with Doctor’s Diagnostic report (if applicable-Special Needs student).
Step 4: Schedule and complete academic assessments and/ or Special Ed observations (if requested). We will be informing you by email, after application payment, of the assessment day and time.
After these steps have been completed, you will be sent a letter of acceptance. To complete the enrollment and secure your child's space in the desired class, you will need to do the following:
Step 1: Pay the non-refundable enrollment fee of $400.00 within two weeks of acceptance. 
Step 2: Sign the payment contract for 2024-2025.
Payment process:
#1) All payments are to be made payable to Horizon Academy.
#2) Payment options:
Tuition Payments can be made by over-the-counter deposit or electronic transfer via our Atlantic Bank Checking account #100-203-771. A copy of the deposit or transfer MUST be sent with your child's name clearly written or printed on it to bursar@horizonacademy.edu.bz. *We do not currently accept credit cards.
#3) An official Horizon Academy, computer-generated receipt will be issued, by email, after the email of your payment has been received.
Note: Students are to be potty trained upon admission.
