Synod of Bishops Questions
The theme of the next worldwide meeting of Bishops is “For a Synodal Church:  Communion, Participation and Mission.”  Pope Francis asks that each parish participate in the Church’s important mission of evangelization and contribute to the Catholic Church’s discussion about:  Listening, Speaking Out About Our Faith, Divine Worship, Exercising Responsibility for Our Christian Mission, Inclusion, Participation, Decision Making, Formation, Dialogue in Church and Society, and Other Communities of Faith.  We have been asked to share our input on these subjects, as Pope Francis continues to discern the voice of the Holy Spirit in our modern world.

Synod of Bishops Prayer
We stand before You, Holy Spirit, as we gather in Your name.
With You alone as our guide, be at home in our hearts;
Teach us your ways, and how we should pursue them.
We are weak and sinful; do not let us promote disorder, but rather harmony.
Do not let stubbornness or partiality forge us down the wrong path.
May we find in You our unity, so that all may be led to eternal life,
Never straying from your paths of truth and goodness.
This we ask You, who are at work in every place and time,
In the communion of the Father and the Son,
Now and forever.
Amen.
