LTI Mentor Application Fall 2024
Thank you for taking the time to apply to MIT Leadership Training Institute! In order to ensure the best experience for our high school students, we have to be selective in choosing mentors who are a good fit for our program. Interviews will take place shortly after the application deadline (09/29/24, 11:59pm). Please answer questions honestly - most give you the choice to be as wordy or as brief as you like. Best of luck :)

Leadership Mentors run leadership and team-building activities and discussions in larger group settings. Project Mentors work with small groups of students and guide them in developing their own service projects. If you have more questions about these two different mentorship positions, please email lti-directors@mit.edu and have them clarified before completing your application!
What is one meaningful leadership/mentorship experience you have had? *
If LTI will be your first leadership/mentorship experience (which is awesome!), please share a meaningful experience working with a team or collaborating with others.
Have you ever created a service project or started a club/organization? What was the experience like?  *
If the answer is "no," don't worry! Just share an experience about taking initiative in a tough situation.
Hobbies/fun fact?  *
Anything goes!
LTI retreat is an off-campus, in-person event that we plan to hold in mid/late October, tentatively on the weekend of 10/19-20. Would you be able to attend retreat if your application is accepted by LTI? *
