Digital Photography
Tuesdays
October 19, 2021 to November 9, 2021
6 pm to 7 pm PST
Instructor:  Quincy Stamper
Teens Only - 13 to 18 years old

This course will help the students become well rounded in the fundamentals of digital photography. Four areas of instruction will be emphasized: How you handle your cameras, how composition works, how lighting works, how to use photos in a creative way. Students will, generally, receive basic instruction, demonstration, and see samples of the desired outcomes, at the beginning of each period.  The majority of class time will be held outdoors for photographing. The most useful part of virtual classroom instruction will be weekly reviews of photos students have shot. They will see what makes a successful photo and what does not.  Camera requirements:  DSLR, point-and-shoot, or smartphone camera can be used for this class.  This class can be repeated.

This is an interactive class limited to 15 participants – participation is required. To fully benefit from this class, you will need video and audio access. Please NOTE: You will need to check in and show yourself in the video for us to take attendance. If you do not attend the first session you may be dropped from the class.

This class will be taught virtually using Zoom - the class link will be shared after registration. For questions about this program or problems registering, please contact sfrpdatthemix@gmail.com.
