Tough Choices
These are all questions I've struggled with in developing my ideas for future content. You can't get more of one without giving up some of the other! Which is more important to you? How far are you willing to follow me into new styles of game different from MVOL?

Contents:
P1: General Game Design
P2: Design w/ Sexual Content
P3: Write-in & Patron Email
Gotta think about this...
Graphics vs. Text
I can get more engaged when there's more graphic elements like maps and sprites!
All I want is lots of story with nothing else getting in the way!
Clear selection
Gameplay Complexity
Give me some really interesting gameplay! Something that makes me think!
I'm here to turn my brain off and enjoy, please keep the gameplay simple.
Clear selection
Disturbing Content and Themes
Please stop including emotionally disturbing content. I don't want my porn game to make me uncomfortable.
MVOL was surprisingly intense, and I loved that about it. I want those big ups and downs!
Clear selection
Text Length & Presentation
Never hold back on those text walls! I'm here to read!
If you can get the same job done in shorter, easier to read bits, please do that. My eyes burn.
Clear selection
Character Age & Maturity
Please give me more mature characters. I'm tired of hearing about teen angst and college kid problems.
Life is most intense at the cusp of adulthood! I don't want to read about old people problems.
Clear selection
Character Cast Size
I'd like a larger, more diverse cast! Think of the possibilities!
It's better to just focus on two people. I really want that deep, meaningful connection.
Clear selection
Quality vs. Quantity
It's okay to relax your writing standards if it means more content faster, I'll still enjoy it plenty!
I don't care how long it takes, I come here for quality work!
Clear selection
Emotional Connection vs. Gameplay
I think it'd be okay to ease off on the whole emotional impact thing if it means getting more real gameplay.
If it means sacrificing any of that intense emotional connection, I don't want more gameplay!
Clear selection
Experimentation vs. Comfort
Surprise me! I don't want more of the same forever, I'd like to see your crazy ideas!
Can't we just have another game like this? I don't want to see you putting all your time into something weird...
Clear selection
Gameplay vs. Reading
More gameplay, please! I'd like a healthy balance between something to read and something to do.
I don't need random game mechanics getting in the way, I just want that sexy feely content!
Clear selection
Story vs. Freedom
A strong, central storyline is the heart of the game's charm, it's okay if I don't control every little thing.
I want a more open-ended experience where my choices really matter, and I can build my own story with the characters.
Clear selection
Complicated Topics and Philosophy
All this philosophy and heavy stuff was getting to be a bit much. Please make your next game a little more lighthearted?
I enjoyed how thought-provoking the game could get. It worked with the story, and I want more!
Clear selection
Gameplay Difficulty
Challenge me with the gameplay! It feels better getting the reward if I really had to earn it!
It really ruins the mood if I can't even get to the content I want because the game's too hard. Please keep it easy.
Clear selection
Gameplay vs. "Feel"
Put good gameplay first! What point is "immersion" if the actual game isn't fun?
Feel and immersion come first! If that gets in the way of the gameplay, that just feels more "real."
