Discovery Street Application 2024-2025 Academic Year for SUDDUTH LOCATION
Discovery Street is an afterschool care program offered to students in grades Pre-K-5 who attend school in Starkville Oktibbeha School District. Enrollment is limited and is on a first-come, first-served basis. Priority is given to children who are currently enrolled in Discovery Street. Children must be potty-trained to participate in the program. Parents or guardians will be responsible for finding alternative care if your child needs or requires services that we cannot provide sufficiently.  

Program Dates: July 23, 2024-May 28, 2025 
Location: Sudduth Elementary School 
Time: Afterschool until 5:30 p.m.  (Intersession Time: 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.)
Transportation: Students will be bused from Henderson Ward Stewart Elementary School and Overstreet Elementary School to Sudduth Elementary School. Parents will pick up students at Sudduth Elementary School. 

COSTS 
Registration Fee: $150 (Non-Refundable) + $42.50 for July Payment *July payment must be paid with registration fee. 
Regular Care Monthly Fee: $170 per month (August-May) 
Regular Care Plus Intersession Monthly Fee: $220 per month (August-May) 

REGISTRATION & PAYMENT PROCESS 
• Applications are reviewed and availability is determined.
• A Discovery Street staff member will contact you if there is space available.
• Registration fee and July payment may be taken to The Discovery Center. 
*Please Note: Registration is not complete until payment is made.

Registration fees and payments are accepted at The Discovery Center located at: 
Emerson Family School 1504 Louisville Street Starkville, MS 39759 

Please ring the doorbell at the south entrance of Emerson Family School. Payments are accepted Monday-Friday from 8:00am-2:00pm. ACH bank draft is also available for your convenience. A new bank draft form MUST be completed each school year regardless of previous bank draft history.
