Do you sometimes struggle with feelings of anger and making positive decisions? This group will focus on increasing your ability to  manage anger effectively, identify sources of anger, resolve conflicts productively, and consider alternative solutions to a problem in order to experience more positive outcomes. 

Meetings will be held once a week (Mondays) for 7 weeks 10:15 am - 11:00 am (Counseling Conference Room)

ArtsQuest Education Program *

Students will be provided the needed supplies to create a series of hands-on projects  The purpose is to guide students through creative art making and provide alternative means to practice stress management.  The program is only 4 weeks and open to 5-10 students; attendance is mandatory.  

Meetings will be held once a week (Wednesdays) for 4 weeks 10:15 am - 11:00 am (Room 330).

Starting February 1st.


Healthy Relationships *

Description: This group will focus on defining healthy vs unhealthy relationships, looking at appropriate boundaries, how to build self-respect, the importance of communication, family relationships, and managing conflict effectively.

Meetings will be held once a week (Wednesdays) for 7 weeks 8:15 am - 9:00 am (Room 330)

Study Skills *

This group will focus on note-taking strategies, study strategies, planning/prioritizing, stress management, knowing your resources, and the importance of managing situations when they don’t go as planned.

Meetings will be held once a week (Wednesdays) for 7 weeks 9:15 am - 10:00 am (Room 330)

Starting February 8th


LGBTQ+ Support *

This group will be a supportive, non-judgmental, educational, empowering, comforting, accepting safe place to talk about issues that students face while being a part of this unique community.  Topics that will be discussed are as follows: anxiety, LGBTQ+ history, coping skills, self-image, and self care.

Meetings will be held once a week (Fridays) for 10 weeks 10:15 am - 11:00 am (Counseling Conference room).

Starting February 10th.
