Terms & Conditions
1. The competition is open to any child (aged 5 to 16) who lives or attends a Surrey school.
2. 'Activity' entries should be submitted via this form.
3. 'Level Up' entries are posted via an adult's social media using the handles stated, in a safe online manner (https://www.nspcc.org.uk/keeping-children-safe/online-safety/talking-child-online-safety). By sharing the content and using the handles, the parent/guardian agrees to act in a responsible manner online.
4. The closing date of each 'Activity' and associated 'Level Up' will be published on the Active Surrey website and the activity card. No entries will be considered after these closing dates.
5. The parent/guardian is aware of the nature of the activity and the suitability of the young person's chosen level in line with their own ability. The parent/guardian takes responsibility for ensuring a safe area for the activity to take place. This involves, but is not limited to, the surface, the equipment and the surrounding areas.
6. Active Surrey's decision on Activity results and Level Up ideas will be final.
7. All young people will receive a certificate and results will be collated into the Schools Leaderboard standings.
8. The parent/guardian is providing consent for the use of the information supplied, on behalf of the young person.
9. Active Surrey reserve the right to terminate the competition if circumstances arise that are out of our control.
10. By entering this competition the parent/guardian is agreeing to be bound by the terms and conditions.

Privacy Policy
1. We would love to share your 'Level Up' ideas. Content which has been shared on public platforms, using the handles as stated may be retweeted/shared on Active Surrey’s (including Active Schools) own social media platforms. By taking part and posting online, using the handles, the parent/guardian agrees to Active Surrey re-sharing the content on their social media platforms.
2. For video clips submitted for week 7’s activity; Magic Movement. Separate consent is required when completing the form. This particular consent is asking, whether the submitted clip can be used in a montage and shared across Active Surrey’s platforms (including Active Schools), website and schools publications.
3. Personal data will only be used to identify young people who have participated throughout the Virtual Surrey School Games, this will therefore allow analysis for more accurate reporting. The shared report will only contain anonymised information.
4. The information supplied will be anonymised and used for reporting purposes to the Department for Education (DfE), Sport England (SE), Youth Sports Trust (YST) and the Department for Digital Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS).
5. Personal data will be kept on secure networks within Surrey County Council and disposed of after 6 months. It will not be shared with third parties.
6. Should you wish to receive direct correspondence for the Virtual Surrey School Games (sign up available at the end of the Results submission form), your email address will only be used for the purpose of promoting and advertising the Virtual Surrey School Games. The email address will not be shared with third parties and will only be kept on record for 6 months.
7. Please contact active.schools@surreycc.gov.uk should you wish to discuss the use or withdrawal of the information supplied.
8. By entering this competition the parent/guardian is agreeing to the use of their information in accordance with the Privacy Policy and GDPR.
