Please note:
The Hope Bridge Single Moms program is Christ-centered and serves women, age 18 and older, who are in crisis and would benefit from a variety of services to stabilize their family and avoid interaction with the child welfare system. Mothers must be willing to participate fully in meeting program objectives which are aimed at identifying and addressing barriers to the family’s physical, emotional, educational and spiritual well-being.
The Hope Bridge program is not designed to take the place of other community programs better suited to meet the unique needs of some families. We believe that God has equipped agencies and organizations differently and we are not all designed to function in the same way. Our program is not equipped to serve as a recovery community and therefore we are unable to work with single mothers who are active in substance use. We celebrate the bravery of women who are leaving situations where domestic violence has occurred; however, we are not equipped to work with women who are still in the process of leaving their abusers. Lastly, we are not a public housing project and have specific standards and expectations outlined in our program guidelines that residents must agree to and abide by if determined to need housing assistance.
