Graduate Studies Scholarship Application
The Dept. of Chicano/Latino Studies Graduate Studies Scholarship awards up to $500 to defray the costs associated with applying to graduate school. Costs may include graduate school application fees, the cost of required admissions tests (e.g. GRE, LSAT, CSET), test preparation materials or courses, etc.

To be eligible you must be a Chicano/Latino Studies major. You may be a current student or an alumni who has graduated within the past 5 years.

If selected, the awarding of funding is conditional upon our ability to process the award. Current students must be able to receive scholarship funds through the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships. Alumni must be able to provide receipts for reimbursement.

If funded, you must agree to allow the Dept. of Chicano/Latino Studies to use the information provided in this application to communicate with current and potential donors to complement dept. fundraising efforts. We may also reach out to you for updates on your post-graduate journey.

PRIORITY DEADLINE: January 31, 2024.
Subsequent applications will be considered on a rolling basis as funds allow.
