Beaver Days is a Order of the Arrow event that OA members and Scouts BSA Troops are invited to support. Our troop will be camping at Camp Grimes and working on Service Projects helping to prepare the camp for this year's Summer Camp programs. During this weekend, there is an opportunity for scouts recently elected for membership in the OA to go through what is called "Ordeal". Completing their Ordeal is a requirement to become a member of the OA. Additionally during this weekend, there will be an opportunity for members that completed their Ordeal to go through Brotherhood which is the next level of membership in the Order of the Arrow.
Friday: Depart at 6:30pm.
Saturday: Ordeal & Brotherhood Progams for those participants eligible and interested. All other participants will spend the day working on a variety of service projects around camp to prepare the camp for summer camp. This could be putting canvas tents on the tent pads, clearing the campsites, trails, or a variety of other service projects around the camp.
Sunday: Depart Camp to arrive at Matthews Presbyterian Church by
12:30 PM.
Scouts Cost: $25
