Pursuing Justice Interest Form
Pursuing Justice is a discussion group created and hosted by Mary VonMutius. She is a retired graphic designer who homeschooled her kids before the invention of Google and remains a forever curious human being. She was confused by the claims that racism was still a problem. Didn't MLK take care of that? But digging into U.S. history clarified the reasons that minority races are still not treated with equity today. Knowledge fostered understanding. Couldn't others benefit from learning this, too? That's why she started this group!
The group meets virtually every other week, typically on Tuesdays at 7pm -8:30pm ET. There are 7 lessons so the group lasts for 14 weeks. Each lesson includes reading/watching videos before class (30-45 minute commitment). During the meeting more information is presented and group members discuss.
