We would like to reorganize the "HIDI" in the future to make it more attractive for the respective areas of interest (since more and more surgeons prefer pure visceral surgery). A suggestion for this is the following daily schedule: Mornings: Cross-cutting topics that interest all surgeons and should be mastered in the basics (e.g. urological emergencies, venous port). In the afternoon the topics are separated. Purely visceral topics (e.g. stoma, hemicolectomy) are dealt within one lecture hall, while tramatological topics (e.g. radius fracture, tibia fracture) are dealt with in another lecture hall. *
