We are so excited to host Trunk or Treat again DURING THE SCHOOL DAY this year! Volunteer to decorate a trunk and be a part of our fantastic event for EVERY gator! Be creative picking out a family-friendly, non-scary theme and have a blast decorating your vehicle's trunk (or the trunk of a staff member if you are unable to stay for the duration or need a mode of transportation to leave the school!)
Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 decorated trunks as voted on by the students.
Timeline will be solidified in the coming weeks, but please see the tentative schedule below to determine your availability to set up a trunk.
Monday, OCTOBER 31st - DURING THE SCHOOL DAY
8:45am-9:10am — Trunk Setup in BACK parking lot. Please do not arrive before 8:35 as car line may still be in progress and we don't want to impeded traffic flow.
***If you'd like to decorate a staff car and then leave school, that would still be greatly appreciated!! Families would provide their own decorations for the trunk, set up the decorations and then PTO would clean up those decorations at the end of the event.
9:15am - 1:40pm — Classes will be scheduled to come through and view the trunks as well as participate in other games and activities. Students are encouraged to wear school-appropriate costumes to school! (Stay tuned for info about donating gently-used costumes.)
*********Parents will NOT need to provide candy/items to distribute at their trunks.*********
1:45 - 2:00 — Schoolwide costume parade
2pm - 2:20 — Trunk Cleanup and Lot Clearing
Please reserve your trunk space by Monday, October 17th so we are able to plan accordingly and make sure this is a fun day for all of our Gators!
