Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Waste Loop! Waste Loop is a 503(c)(3) nonprofit based in Leavenworth, WA. Our mission is to inspire communities to transform local 'waste' streams into new resources. We are primarily education and outreach focused and could not do this work without volunteers like you!

Volunteer Interests

There are a myriad of ways that you can help contribute to the mission of Waste Loop in our community. While we always appreciate folks that will "help with anything", we also want to best utilize the resources available to us, which means leveraging the skills, interests, and passions of our volunteers!

Please select all of the current volunteer opportunities that you are interested in: *

Fixer at repair events (sewing/mending, general repair, electronic repair, bicycle maintenance, etc)

Eastside Rebuild Tool Library (inventorying tools, assembling orders)

Support Eastside Rebuild (inventorying materials, cleaning the space, light construction projects)

Event planning committee (help with the panning of the Leavenworth Community Earth Day Fair in April and/or the Sustainable Living and Farming Tour in September)

Toward Zero Waste Ambassador (assist event goers in correctly sorting waste and educate them on the importance of waste diversion at TZW events)

Tabling at community events (represent WL at events such as the Farmer's Market and share our mission with the community)

Waste audit helper (assist in the audit of schools' or businesses' waste stream to gather baseline data)

Social media content creation (we are always in search of content for our blog and social media "eco-tips")

Professional services (grant writing, fundraising, curriculum development, legal, etc - please specify in the next question's answer box)

Organize a community workshop or event (we'd love to work with you to highlight a skill or passion related to sustainability that you'd like to share with the community)

Odd jobs on your schedule, such as event flyering.
