-NHS exists as a platform for service in the community. We want to be a group of people who are passionate about serving others and making Stockdale and Bakersfield a better place.

-All sophomores, juniors, and seniors who have a cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 or above may apply for admission to NHS.

-Admission is not automatic. In addition to having the required GPA, applicants must demonstrate significant leadership, character, and service.

-We will hold you accountable to the commitment you make to National Honor Society as a member of Stockdale's Chapter.

ALL MEMBERS ARE REQUIRED TO DO THE FOLLOWING:
1. Maintain at least a 3.0 GPA
2. Complete a tentative eight (8) hours of NHS-led volunteer service per semester through mostly online or possibly in person events.
3. Participate in the possible mandatory Donation drive and fundraisers
4. Attend all mandatory NHS meetings

Failure to comply with these requirements will result in dismissal from National Honor Society.
