MECK Pre-K Interest Survey - Potential (2022-2023)
Hello Site Providers,

MECK Pre-K is a Mecklenburg County-funded program that offers free, quality pre-kindergarten to eligible four-year-old children (must be age four on or before August 31 and live in Mecklenburg County, household income). MECK Pre–K programs are located in high-quality four- and five-star child care centers throughout Mecklenburg County.   It is managed through Smart Start of Mecklenburg County.

MECK Pre-K programs are operated by licensed teachers who provide instruction to students for 6.5 hours per day, five days a week per Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS) calendar.

If your site is interested in applying for a MECK Pre-K classroom(s), please complete the survey by December 1, 2021.
