IMPORTANT:

COVID-19 pandemic has changed the nature of tennis. As we start the 2020 season, there are a number of restrictions and revised rules of play that DARA will be under in order to create as safe an environment as possible. The following list summarizes core changes that will apply to all members:

● Courts will be open from dawn until 11:00 p.m. every day (lights will come on at dusk).
● The clubhouse will be CLOSED and unavailable for use.
● There will be NO seating; chairs, beaches and picnic table have been removed.
● Public court waiting rules will apply. When courts are fully occupied, there is a 30-minute waiting period and the players who have been on court the longest must cede their court. Both hitting partners MUST be present to get on court.
● NO guests at any time.
● You must always practice social distancing.
● Members must observe precautionary measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Note that these measures may be subject to change as federal, provincial, and municipal health regulations evolve. All members should be aware that the club may have to close at some point in the season if public health directives require us to do so.
