THE CLASS:

This class is a full day initiation to the art of tying and being tied.
A lovers initiation.

You can sign up together with a partner, lover or friend that you feel comfortable sharing intimacy with.

It is located in the beautiful studios of Dansterapicentrum at Östermalm and will give you a fantastic introduction to Shibari, inspired from japanese and western rope bondage and tantra, with sensuality and embodiment as the most distinguishing approach.

LIVE MUSIC AND FOOD:

A mezmoringing atmosphere will be held musically by my partner Benjamin Jamily.
The music will support you to enter even more deepely into the beauty of the moment and offer the spark of life that only live music can do.

And a good event is not possible without good food, tasty and healthy snacks!

WHO IS THIS FOR:
The class is for beginners, who have tied a little before, or have no earlier experience.
The class can also fit you who feel stuck in your practice and want a new start to refresh the basics and build connection and curiosity with your ropes or your partner.

CONTENT:

This class is both a teaching and an experience.

With the ropes we will study basic technique and go though tying patterns as well as the foundation of improvisation.

You will also be guided through exercises that focus on creating connection, depth and loving presence. It is a chance to deepen intimacy and explore polarities of directing and surrendering, all in a loving presence with the ropes as your tool.

Shibari does not only bring curiosity and pleasure of sensation, but also embodiment, presence, ceremonial spaces, power of initiative as well as the choice to let go of control, which are deeply valuable skills in relationship to others and to life.

Skills from different artforms come together in the teachings; dance, massage, kink, meditation, bdsm, authentic relating and communication. With these perspectives a space is created to deep dive into being, for meetings to bloom with curiosity, playfulness and depth.

Price:
The cost is 3000-3600 kr per couple.

I have chosen to have a sliding scale to be able to offer spots to people with different economic situations.
Choose an amount on the scale that is possible for you to pay depending on your income. Please pay full price if you have the possibility.

There is also a possibility for a limited number of people to make a deal where the price can be reduced in exchange for some practical help before and after the class.

ABOUT MOLLY:

Molly S Lindau is a Swedish artist and workshop leader exploring sexuality, and emotional health through classes, studies and artistic work. She has a background in the fine arts and is an educated social worker. This meeting between creativity and therapeutic work describes the red thread of her life.

Her passion for ropes comes from a deep love of embodiment. To dive into the skin, the senses, the uncompromising presence of life as it unfolds. She sees the rope as a way of practicing two fundamental principles of life; to act and surrender, and her interest in teaching comes from seeing people cultivate the change and pleasure that comes with balancing and mastering these qualities.

In the class we will enter exercises of intimacy, role play and power exchange. It is therefore good if you feel comfortable with these topics, knowing that emotions might arrise. We will also actively work on creating a safe space and to practice asking ouselves what we want and not and communicate this. *
