Thank you for your inquiry to volunteer with Brooklyn Wate

All events require a level of workmanship that can be seen in how it operates fluidly. Community heavy events, think tanks, event building, participant retention, advertising & marketing, fundraisers, workshops or regular recurring events, such as our Big Hat Event or our Open Closet gives us pride when we can create a reputable model of the Brooklyn WATE experience. By having volunteers, we are also able to give opportunities for individuals to pour themselves into the mosaic of the community we seek to empower. We want to give experience to those who have never worked within a non-profit, credit to students preparing for higher education, and also learn team building and showcase the camaraderie in the forefront as well as the team work that happens in the background, which is open to both male and female. We also always welcome other CBO's to join in and help us out in any way. We welcome everyone to assist us in delivering a platform that creates connection, encouragement and community.

Should we require more information, please make sure your contact info is correct. You will be contacted when an opportunity arises, and will be able to choose which one suites your volunteer desire. You will be required to produce picture identification and may be requested to take part in a telephone or in-person interview(students requiring credit/documentation). These measures keep Brooklyn WATE staffing safe as well as allowing you, the volunteer, to know who you will be working with, exactly what the task entails, and if this is a right fit for your need.
