Minorities and Philosophy (MAP) Program
Now accepting applications for the 2023-2024 academic year!
Applications are accepted year-round on a rolling basis.

Loyola Philosophy students have a chapter of Minorities and Philosophy (MAP)! As part of our MAP chapter, we have developed a program for students from marginalized and underrepresented groups in philosophy. Undergraduate students in the program will be connected with graduate students, faculty, and undergraduate peers! The program provides mentorship, assistance in navigating the university and philosophical discipline, and the opportunity to participate in MAP programming and events such as talks, screenings, MAP Lounge, and more!

To be part of MAP, you must be (1) a current undergraduate at Loyola with an interest in philosophy, (2) self-identify as part of an underrepresented or marginalized group. All majors welcome!
