Hello!

We would like to invite you to take part in a unique creative workshop exploring hair and black culture. It will take place on Thursday 31st July and Friday 1st August at Harmony Hall in Walthamstow from 12pm - 3pm.

You will have the opportunity to work with a professional artist to create a large scale piece of art over two days. For people under 25, you will also be able to work towards a Bronze Arts Award qualification - a nationally recognised Level 1 Qualification for young people aged 11 - 25.

To apply you should:

- identify as a woman or gender non binary
- have African and/or Caribbean heritage
- live, work or go to school/college in Waltham Forest (Leyton, Leytonstone, Walthamstow, Higham Hill, Highams Park, Chingford).
- be 11 - 25 years old or 50+ years old

Lunch will be provided and travel expenses will be reimbursed.

Places are limited so please sign up here and we will get back to you to let you know if you have secured a place.
