Workshop Objectives:

The overarching objectives are to enhance the resilience of agricultural value chains in the subregion by ensuring availability of suitable context-specific climate-smart agricultural (CSA) approaches, capacitated technical manpower, accessible climate finance sources, and increased collaboration among key stakeholders.
Target Participants:

  • Officials from the line ministries, international agencies (multilateral/bilateral), civil society organizations dealing with policies and implementing projects under climate resilient agriculture, climate finance, green value chain development, and other related areas
  • Representatives from the financial service providers (central banks, development banking institutions, commercial banks, insurance companies, etc.)
  • Academic experts from the relevant fields

Participants' Criteria:

  • Hold a university degree or an equivalent educational background with a minimum of three to five years of working experience
  • Be proficient in English speaking, reading, and writing
  • Have strong familiarity in cross-cultural interactions
