The Sauk Rapids-Rice Board of Education invites school district residents to learn about the sometimes complex operations of their school district. The Sauk Rapids-Rice Board of Education is launching a new program in January of 2024, called the Sauk Rapids-Rice School District Academy. 

Academy membership is limited to 15 attendees per course. Academy members will learn from the Sauk Rapids-Rice Board of Education, administration, teachers and students. At the completion of the four session program, academy members will better understand topics like school finance, teaching and learning, facilities and safety. The Sauk Rapids-Rice Board of Education and administration looks forward to learning from academy members and inviting them to become more involved with the Sauk Rapids-Rice School District.

What: Sauk Rapids-Rice School District Academy

Who: Applications are open to all district residents 18+ and are due by December 20, 2023.. Accepted attendees will be notified by December 29, 2023. Course acceptance is limited to 15 attendees (first come first served). There are a total of four sessions.  

When: 

               January 17, 2024 from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.,
               February 21, 2024 from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.,
               March 20, 2024 from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., and
               April 17, 2024 from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Where:  Sessions will be held various ISD47 buildings
