STOP censoring germane participation and speech on the Exchange. ENCOURAGE reasonable scrutiny, debate and dissent.

RESPECT and ACKNOWLEDGE the dissonance that’s been created by focusing on Business Partner revenue and management company training and education while simultaneously underserving CICs, their homeowners and volunteer leaders

CELEBRATE and ENCOURAGE independent activity that benefits the health and vibrancy of common interest communities, regardless of whether that activity contributes to CAI’s bottom line

PROVIDE common interest communities, their homeowners and volunteer leaders an equitable role in CAI’s governance structure based on the undisputed fact that CICs are the basis for the existence of CAI

CREATE engagement opportunities for CIC homeowners and volunteer leaders to connect with each other locally, within every state and across the nation, including unabated opportunities to connect with the CAI Homeowner Leader Council absent the control and intervention of CAI staff

LEAD BY EXAMPLE with consistency, empathy, honesty, integrity, reason and transparency. Start by proactively sharing records of CAI’s decision-making and finances with members.

FACILITATE connectivity between members, especially individual homeowners and volunteer leaders, by removing technology roadblocks

DELIVER more value for CAI membership dollars by providing CIC members complimentary access to ALL online CAI programming and publications enabled by uncompensated contributions from volunteers, Business Partners and by CAI staff

REDUCE marketing to CICs by abandoning the “everything is for sale” model in CAI electronic and print publications
