-  When you are done filling out the form, please follow the link to submit your payment
-  The fee is $120.00 per team with a maximum of 5 players per team to help offset insurance costs
-  Registration Deadline will be February 1st, however the tournament may fill up before this date.  Once we reach our team limit, we WILL NOT take more teams.  Teams interested in participating after the deadline may be put on a waitlist, but there are no guarantees that the team will be entered into the tournament.
-  A copy of each player’s Valid Driver’s License, State ID, or Passport must be turned in with a signed waiver during check-in
-  Each registration will be considered the team’s final roster for the event.  
-  The team’s captain must contact the tournament director with any roster changes.  
-  The tournament format and maximum participation will be determined largely by the weather, amount of lake space, ice conditions and daylight.
-  Registration should be completed online or emailed to Lindy’s Landing no later than FEBRUARY 13th.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT:
-  The tournament will begin by 9:00 AM and will aim to be completed by 3:30 PM.  Each game will consist of two-5 or 10 minute periods running clock.  Teams will switch sides at halftime. Game length will be determined once registration closes.
-  The tournament will consist of one division; max number of teams is 10.  
-  Playoffs will be determined by the number of teams entered in the tournament.  
-  There will be a schedule board so teams can check their scheduled playing times and opponents.  
-  It may occur that teams may play back to back games.  
-  Final game format will depend on the number of teams.

PLAYOFF FORMAT:
-  After pool play is completed, there will be a single elimination tournament to determine the champion.
-  If there is a tie after regulation, there will be a sudden death period until a winner is decided.

RULES:
-  NO SKATES ARE ALLOWED INSIDE LINDY’S WITHOUT SKATEGUARDS.  LINDY’S WILL BE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC IN RECOGNITION OF WAUCONDA WINTERFEST. TABLES INSIDE ARE ONLY AVAILABLE UPON RESERVATION. THE DINING ROOM WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE FOR CHANGING.
-  There will be no referees, but rather a single timekeeper.  
-  The captains will report each game’s final score to the tournament director.
-  Captains are expected to police their own teams.  If any issues are not resolved on ice, the tournament director can be called over to help with any disputes.
-  Team captains will decide which team starts with the puck.  At the beginning of the second period, the opposite team will begin with the puck.
-  Each team is required to have (2) matching sets of jerseys (example: blue and yellow, dark and light)
-  Each player MUST WEAR A HELMET during all tournament play.  Pads and other protective equipment are not required but HIGHLY recommended.
-  ALL players are responsible for helping clear off the ice between games.
-  Checking and slap shots are NOT permitted.
-  Goaltending is not allowed.  A player MAY NOT patrol or remain stationary in the crease area.  A defender may deflect the puck in the crease area but must do so while moving through the crease area.
-  Goals can only be scored from the attacking side of center ice.
-  Absolutely no fighting is allowed.  Any player who fights/exhibits harmful behavior will be ejected from the tournament and will forfeit their entry fee.  Ejection from the tournament will be at the sole discretion of the tournament director and may include but is not limited to individuals, entire teams and/or spectators.
-  This tournament is meant to be a fun and safe annual event hosted by Lindy’s for the enjoyment of all participants and spectators.  We hope to continue a tradition in the spirit of sportsmanship, community and friendship that will continue for years to come.
