Football Camp is a separate entity from Summer Strength & Conditioning. Olathe East Hawks Football Camp will take place on the dates of June 5, 6, 7, and 8 from 9:00 - 11:00am.
Players involved in camp will move to the 7:15am Strength & Conditioning time slot during the week of camp. Those not signed up for camp will continue to go to their normal time slot.
Football Camp drills will take place in helmets and shoulder pads. Players will receive their football equipment after they have signed up and paid for camp. Each camper will also receive an OE Hawks Football Camp T-shirt.
Activities will include individual skill development in the areas of offense, defense, and special teams. Campers will be introduced to offensive and defensive terminology used by the Olathe East Football program. Sessions will feature position-specific drills, small group instruction, and team competitions. There will be a strong emphasis placed on safety and fun. This is a great opportunity to meet teammates and develop relationships needed to navigate high school.
Participants should wear T-shirts, shorts, girdle, helmet, shoulder pads, and cleats each day. They should bring a mouthpiece, and a water bottle.
