‘Open House: The Great Sex Experiment’ is a Channel 4 social experiment television series where committed couples come to a luxury retreat to test whether opening up their relationships and having sex with other people will strengthen their bond.

While at the luxury location, each couple get the opportunity to meet and date the retreat’s single residents as well as get advice and information about non-monogamy from an expert team.

As part of our casting process and as part of your contribution if you are selected to take part in the Programme, you may be asked to provide medical information, details of any past criminal convictions and certain other information which is known as “special category personal information”.

Firecracker Films and the broadcaster will only process your special category personal information with your explicit consent, unless it is required in order to comply with a particular legal obligation, such as to meet our safeguarding responsibilities.

During the casting process and if you go on to become a contributor to the Programme, Firecracker Films and the commissioning broadcaster may process certain of your personal information for the purposes of considering your application for this Programme, to carry out reasonable background checks to verify the information you provide to us, for the purposes of producing the Programme, for our administration and related services, and where it is necessary in our legitimate interests to do so.
