CPSFC substitute teacher, David Heeks, is offering a week-long outdoor experience, exploring the wonders of nature on his 75-acre family farm, with lots of forests, fields, a pond and a creek to explore. Any nature structures that campers create can remain, as this is private land. Nets and containers will be provided to encourage kids to "catch and release" at the creek. A change of clothes is recommended in case campers get wet or muddy. (Swimsuits not required: there will be no swimming.)
Campers will be able to enjoy down time with a ping pong game or foosball in the finished barn. There's a bathroom, break room and access to a refrigerator and microwave in there as well. Hammocks will be provided for rest or quiet time. Additionally, there will be a take-apart station of yard equipment that interested campers can disassemble with provided tools.
Come on out for a week of adventure, exploration, big games, and lots of stories! Every day we will be a new chance to explore and play as we learn and laugh together in the great outdoors.
Bus transportation will be provided at an additional fee. There are a limited number of spaces so grab yours early!

ALL students MUST pack and BRING their own lunch, snacks, WATER and proper clothing EVERYDAY!
PLEASE make sure your child has plenty of food for throughout the day as well as a change of clothes in their backpack.

This is a wonderful outdoor learning opportunity for our children. They will need to follow safety protocol to ensure everyone has a fun and safe time on the Farm.
PICK UP AND DROP OFF IS AT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, unless you opt out of the bus transportation. Transportation fee is $50 extra per camper.
