Agricultural policy in the UK is on the cusp of major changes. Whilst there is a lot of uncertainty about how the policy will work in practice, there are potentially huge opportunities for innovation in farming practice, to support farmers to produce food for our country, whilst creating healthy and thriving landscapes.
The Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust (BBOWT) want to work with the farming and landowning community across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, and Oxfordshire to support more sustainable farming and land management practices, and create and restore habitats across agricultural landscapes.
This work will help support our vision for nature’s recovery - to enable wildlife to recover and thrive. A thriving and healthy natural environment will underpin our ability to grow food sustainably into the future.
To achieve this, BBOWT are developing a paid-for wildlife and farming advisory service. This service will harness our 60 years of environmental land management experience, managing 2700 hectares of freehold and leased land (800 hectares of which is in agricultural use), and extensive environmental expertise, helping to maximise the environmental potential of land across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, and Oxfordshire.
We are interested in understanding your interest in accessing BBOWT’s new paid-for wildlife and farming advisory service and invite you to complete the survey below.
We anticipate this survey should take around 5 mins, and thank you in advance for taking the time to complete it.
