Getty Images, National Federation of the Blind, & Tactile Images Video
Hello NABS members. You can help and possibly win a $50 Amazon gift card,

Getty Images, a world leader in visual communications, and the National Federation of the Blind, America's civil rights and membership organization of the blind, have partnered with Tactile Images to deliver more than 25 million images to the world's blind population at museums, science centers, libraries, schools, and government agencies. This initiative will significantly enhance educational opportunities and cultural inclusion for blind and low-vision individuals worldwide.

Tactile Images recently sent out a survey to learn more about the people, places, and historical events that blind people would like to 'see' and experience via tactile prints. The response has been overwhelming, but they still want to hear directly from you in the form of a video. Your involvement supports the partnership and its mission to use tactile imagery to increase accessibility for blind and disabled populations worldwide. As part of our formal press release which will be shared with media outlets worldwide, we would like to include the top video responses that we receive in our formal press release. Those who are selected will also receive $50 Amazon gift cards.

Guidelines:

- Fill out the following form.

- Create a video answering the following questions:

1. What do you want to 'see' first? Why?
2. What will access to photographs and art mean to you?

- Videos can be sent to blamere@tactileimages.com or sent via a link shared from an online video-sharing platform such as YouTube, Vimeo, etc.

To make sure we have received your video, please send us a separate email following your submission,

- All responses should be received by 11:59 PM EST on Tuesday, January 19, 2021.

Thank you for your participation and feedback!
