Westwood Basketball Association Stephen Bonkowski Annual Scholarship Application

Steve Bonkowski was a Westwood Dad, friend, and former WBA volunteer who loved playing basketball. Steve was a great person on and off the court. The scholarships will go to two Westwood High School students who, like Steve, demonstrated exceptional character on and off the court.

The Westwood Basketball Association (WBA) would like to offer a $500 college scholarship to up to two graduating high school students. The scholarship is intended to be used toward college tuition or costs.

The requirements are:
- Participated in Westwood Basketball Association (WBA) programs multiple years, intown and/or travel basketball.
- Accepted to a college/university and will begin school this year
- Represented WBA off the court doing something positive in the Westwood community

Interested seniors must submit a scholarship application by May 26, 2023.

The WBA executive board members will meet to review the applications and select a male and female scholarship award. The announcement will be made at the Westwood High School graduation ceremonies.
