MSBO Volunteer Form

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Michigan State Bird Observatory, also known as MSBO. We operate bird banding stations at Burke Lake (BULA) and Corey Marsh Ecological Research Center (CMERC), as well as events off-site. We ask that you complete this form so we'll have your contact information and a better idea of your skills and the types of things you're willing to help us with. By submitting this form you give us permission to add your name to our mailing list for announcements and periodic newsletters. Be sure to complete the entire survey, and we will be in touch with you soon!

Note: The station is open ~6 days a week for 4-5 weeks April-May and daily from August 15th to October 15th. There are also many ways volunteers can help outside of our field seasons, such as by assisting with events, fundraising, and maintenance.
