GRASP Enrollment Form
We have been offering this opportunity to out K-8 students for many years now.  By offering to order as a district, we are able to offer this OPTION to our parents at discounted rate as opposed to those enrolling directly on their own.  For those unfamiliar with the program, please see the parent letter below.  

Grand Rapids Academic Summer Program for grades K-8.  ONE student per form only!  For those ordering Booklets, you will be emailed material distribution details soon.  For those ordering for their 4th-8th grader(s) to complete work ONLINE, you will receive an email notification from the GRASP office directly.

Dear NWCS Parents:

We have made arrangements to acquire the GRASP program for you this summer.  GRASP is a correspondence program for grades K to 8 which helps students maintain reading and math skills while they are on summer break.  

Children receive a packet of materials with a booklet containing 9 lessons.  It takes approximately one hour to complete each lesson.  Students submit one lesson a week starting June 10th or work at their own pace, as long as they submit all lessons before August 13, 2021.  They mail the lessons to GRASP where they are scored and returned to the children with comments.  

We also have an on-line version of GRASP for students in 4th to 8th Grade.  These students will receive feedback immediately.  

Children successfully completing at least 7 lessons with 70% accuracy are awarded a certificate.  Those successfully completing all 9 lessons with 70% accuracy receive a medal!  Certificates and medals will be distributed by your school instead of mailed as in the past.

When registering, select the grade your child is just completing so they review material they learned.  If your child is ahead or behind grade level, order the appropriate level.  THE COST for the summer of 2021 are $26 for one subject or $48 for both subjects for each child.  You can enroll your student by completing the form below and paying the indicated enrollment fee.

THE FORM AND FEE SHOULD BE RETURNED TO SCHOOL NO LATER THAN APRIL 26, 2021.
