The purpose of the Community Listening Sessions is to understand the environmental impacts and perspectives of Nevada residents. Discussion topics will be related to housing costs, transportation, water, and extreme heat.
Each listening session will last for 90 minutes. Each listening session will include up to 20 participants maximum. Any additional sign ups will be added to our wait list. Participants will be provided a $25 gift card and refreshments in exchange for your time. Please register on this form, so we can plan ahead to order enough food.
Participants may only attend ONE listening session.
** There are limited spots for participants and will be first come, first served.
We will follow up with all submissions to confirm your reserved spot **
The listening sessions are being conducted by the
Nevada Environmental Justice Coalition.
In Fall 2024, the Coalition will produce a public report of the findings from the community listening sessions and the corresponding community survey.
Our Southern Nevada community listening sessions are in partnership with
Southern Nevada Strong.
The feedback received in Southern Nevada will also be incorporated in the upcoming update of the Southern Nevada Strong Regional Plan, an effort that promotes environmental justice in land use and transportation decisions across the region. The idea behind the initiative is to use real personal stories of shared experiences in our community to help create an equitable, just, and sustainable future for all Nevadans.
